Skills

Reusable playbooks that deepen how agents work artefacts and the Stage.

Skills are instruction playbooks — structured guidance agents follow for a kind of work (for example a portfolio board pass or an impact-style review). They deepen Stage and artefact work without turning every chat into ad-hoc prompting.

In the library

Open Skills to create a skill (author a SKILL.md playbook and optional reference files). You assign skills to a session or to an agent — they are not auto-applied to every turn.

How to use them

  • Prefer a concrete playbook for work you repeat.
  • Attach skills to the agent that should own that workflow.
  • Keep skills focused: one job per playbook beats a catch-all dump.

Skills complement MCP connections and the agent harness: connections supply tools and visual apps; skills shape how the agent approaches the artefact; the harness governs how the run plans and uses tools.
